| Poached Pears in Raspberry Sauce Ingredients
6 pears
3/4 cup water
2 tbs butter
1 tbs honey
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1 tbs light brown sugar
1 tsp granulated sugar
Preparation
Peel
pears and cut in half or leave whole. In a sauce pan, mix
water, wine and pears. Cook on high for 6-12 minutes.
Pears should be firm but not mushy. Take off heat and let
sit in water for 3 minutes. In a saute' pan, add remaining
ingredients and bring to a boil. Add 3/4 cup pear poaching
mixture and reduce to a velvety sauce for 5 minutes on high
heat. Pour sauce over pears and serve. |
