We have long considered offering our viewers a comprehensive study and guide of the Maryville-Alcoa Greenway and it looks like we might be closing in on a great site for the Blount Countians who love to walk or ride on the beautifully maintained trails within our community. Through the efforts and photographs of an avid walker, Sonny McClanahan, we will offer you in the near future a look at the trails and Sonny will describe certain aspects of the trails which may be of interest to any age group, plus offer us photographs as seasons change.
I wish to thank Sonny who emailed me in 1998 to offer his photographs to theBlountWeb! We may be somewhat slow but quality slows us down.
