Townsend the
Peaceful Side (serving Walland & Townsend) and
Mountain Smoke (local
photography) were both nestled inside
theBlountWeb for years until
they became too large which dictated having their own domains. The
parent web (theBlountWeb) had upwards of 7,500 pages at one time but
now contains over 5,000 pages, thousands of links and hundreds of
images. There are currently over 250 pages in the directory
structure and a few more are added every week or so.
The directory structure is currently being re-designed and updated. |

There are 2
primary directories in theBlountWeb, the Categorized Directory (for
subscribers only) and the Alphabetized Directory which is a free
listing for any web site I can find or is submitted to me. These 2
directories will allow you to see just about every business web site
in Blount County other than a few I've missed and about 50 I need to
add at this time. For the past 5 months I've been updating the
directories and hope to have them all finished |

TheBlountWeb
Online since November of 1997, this web site was
designed to serve the business community and the residents
of Blount County as an umbrella for the community. There are
currently 5,000 plus pages in theBlountWeb with more added
weekly. If you wish to subscribe to the directories your business must be located inside the
boundaries of Blount County. I will not compromise the
businesses of our community by selling links to outside web
sites. This site was designed to promote Blount County to
those looking to visit us or move here and to support the
Internet needs of our local citizens. |

Townsend the Peaceful Side
has been online since June of 2005. This site is
relatively young and only contains over 200 pages. This site was
designed after being asked to do so over the past years by
Townsend Clients who wanted a site specific to the Walland
and
Townsend area. There are about 30 more pages
of information which will shortly be added. Again your
business must be located inside the boundaries of Blount
County. This site contains mostly Townsend & Walland related
businesses. |

Mountain Smoke
Mountain
Smoke is a web site dedicated
to photography only. I encourage anyone with
photographs of Blount County scenes
to submit them for publication.

I am grateful
to the many faithful subscribers which continue to make these sites
possible. These clients, of which many have been online with me
since the beginning understand the purpose of these sites in
bringing visitors into a community covering and then allowing them
to go directly to the category they are looking for. There are
numerous client sites which have have been kind enough to provided a
link back to the BlountWeb family of web sites because of the
information they provide to the visitor.
