DIRECTIONS

from Knoxville
Take I-40 to Hwy. 129 south to John Sevier Hwy. Go about 1 1/2 miles. Turn right at Weigels store to Hwy. 33 (Old Knoxville Hwy.). Go through Rockford, cross Little River, turn left at Pope's Garden Center onto Old Sam Houston School Rd. Go about 2 miles & look for a sign that says "Sam Houston Historic Schoolhouse" on your left. The road will dead end into the parking lot (stay to the right).
 

from Sevierville
Take Hwy. 441 to 411 south. After crossing Little River, look for Sam Houston Historic Schoolhouse sign on your right to Peppermint Rd. When Peppermint Rd. dead ends, turn right onto Wildwood Rd. and go about 150 yards and turn left onto Old Sam Houston School Rd. Look for "Sam Houston Historic Schoolhouse" sign will be on your right. The road will dead end into the parking lot (stay to the right).

from Maryville:
Turn right on East Broadway (Hwy. 33), turn right on Wildwood Rd. to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Go about 100 yards to Old Sam Houston School Rd. (1st road on left) and go until you see the "Sam Houston Historic Schoolhouse" sign on right. The road will dead end into the parking lot (stay to the right).

from Loudon, Lenoir City, Friendsville area:
Take Hwy. 321 east to Hwy. 129 north. Exit and turn right onto Hunt Rd. When Hunt Rd. dead ends at the stop light, turn left and go to Pope's Garden Center. Turn right at Pope's onto Old Sam Houston School Rd. Go about 2 miles & look for a sign that says "Sam Houston Historic Schoolhouse" on your left. The road will dead end into the parking lot (stay to the right).
