Children's Dental Services
Comprehensive dental services are available to children as medically necessary. Parents are encouraged to bring their children in to see a dentist for routine care.
Orthodontic treatment (braces) is only provided to children diagnosed with a handicapping malocclusion (go to definition in the Public Necessity Rules). Even if your general dentist thinks braces would improve your child's smile, this is considered cosmetic treatment and is not paid for by TennCare.

School-based Dental Program
Since 2001, the Tennessee Department of Health has had a grant agreement with TennCare.
This grant is for oral disease prevention services for grade school children (K-8) in public schools. In these schools, at least 50 percent of the students must participate in the school lunch program. This also includes referral of underserved children with unmet dental needs to dental providers.
For more information, please visit the Tennessee Department of Health.

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalms 9:9

Our Mission is to follow Christ's command to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to members of our community who are unable to access these services through traditional channels

Trinity Dental Clinic focuses on basic dental care for low income / uninsured / under-served adults.  Our emphasis is on emergency and urgent treatment needs.  We are normally open two days a week with one dentist.  Therefore, we may not be able to treat all qualifying patients promptly who qualify for care.  We do our best to see patients as soon as possible.  At this time, our treatment
options include pulling teeth and cleaning teeth as time and resources allow.  Please note that TDC is not intended to take the place of routine dental care.  Instead, TDC is meant to be a temporary measure to help the under served until they can obtain care in the traditional dental community.
