Home Energy Assistance

Need help with the high cost of home delivered fuel, gas or electricity? Maybe we can be of assistance.
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is a program Blount County Community Action Agency administers to households in Blount County, This project is funded under an agreement with the Department of Human Services and is designed to help low income, elderly, disabled and those with high energy burdens offset the cost of energy for their homes.

Emergency help with utility bills is provided from various funding sources administered by BCCAA. Funding sources include the federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program and local utility company programs (Share the Warmth).

Good Neighbors is a 501(c)3 community ministry of the Blount County Ecumenical Action Council.  Good Neighbors is designed to help lift our neighbors out of crisis in a compassionate setting.
Good Neighbors provides resources to maintain and/or increase the ability of our neighbors to cope with the challenges of everyday life. We do this in an atmosphere of love and respect, building partnerships through which Christís love can grow and by advocating for social justice within Blount County.
